The Iznik Garden Rollerball and Pencil Set by Retro51 reproduces two stonepaste dishes in The Met collection and originally crafted in the Turkish town of Iznik, which was renowned for its pottery workshops. The floral and bird themes featured on the original plates were pervasive decorative elements on 16th- and 17th-century Iznik creations. These writing instruments have been carefully recreated with the images silkscreened onto the metal barrels of the Tornado twist-top rollerball and 1.15 mm pencil that are finished with polished chrome trim. They are loaded in The Met licensed packaging tube that doubles as a pen stand when it's not in use
